Robert K. Long, 79, Lebanon, died Friday, July 16, 1999, in Lebanon's Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of the late Ethel M. Long, who died Dec. 24, 1968. He was born March 11, 1920 Lebanon to the late John D. and Jennie Kohr Long. He was a retired self-employed dentist. He was a graduate of Lebanon Valley College and Temple University. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the American Dental Assoc., the Mt. Lebanon Lodge 226 F&AM and the Post E Traveler's Protective Association. He is survived by sons John Long of St. Louis, and George H. Long of Lebanon; daughters Holly, wife of Randall Getz of Lebanon, and Joan H., wife of Fred Van Winkle of West Chester; a brother, Theodore K. Long of Lebanon; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Luther K. Long. Service Monday in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. [Lebanon Daily News]
