Charles married Josephine B. [Bonaparte (?)] Brandt, b. 1861, at Brandt, PA. They had children Karl and Maria.

NOTE- I have seen his business partner, Schuyler Coe Brandt, referred to as a cousin and a brother-in-law; he may have been both as there seems to have been some intermarriage between the two families.

Brothers-in-law, yes, I have yet to prove they were cousins.
Although almost all sources online refer to them as cousins.
I have made contact with a gg granddaughter of S. C. Brandt (Marniebl # 477966530 and she agrees they were not cousins to her knowledge.

Schuyler Coe Brandt was a brother to Charles' wife Josephine Brandt Stickley.

==============================

Charles began his career in Binghamton, New York with brothers Gustav and Albert. He co-founded Stickley & Brandt Chair Company in 1891. The company became the largest furniture retailer in New York States during the 1890s. While his brothers moved elsewhere, family and business connections caused Charles to remain in Binghamton.

Businesses: Stickley Brothers Company, Stickley & Brandt Chair Company

=========================

Charles Stickley married into the Brandt family in 1891 (actually 1888) and formed the Stickley-Brandt Furniture Company. Of all the Stickley furniture companies formed, this is the only one whose catalogs have never been reprinted, and there is not a lot of documentation on the furniture designs made by the company. The pieces made by Charles Stickley that are held in the highest regard comprise of two parlor sets with massive rectangular front legs and cut outs in the slats of the couch and chairs.

NOTE- New reprint of the 1911 Stickley & Brandt Chair Company trade catalogue Finally! A catalogue reprint of Charles Stickley's mission furniture is available to collectors. This book includes the complete 117-page Stickley & Brandt Chair Company 1911 trade catalogue, plus a 16-page illustrated history of the company and its principals, Charles Stickley and Schuyler Coe Brandt. Most Arts and Crafts aficionados know that Charles Stickley was Gustav Stickley's younger brother and that he made mission furniture-but that is about it. Until publication of this book, Charles Stickley was the Stickley brother we knew the least about. Even photographs of Charles Stickley were hard to come by. Even less was known about Charles Stickley's business partner (and brother-in-law), Schuyler Coe Brandt. The unabridged 1911 trade catalogue is reprinted in its original size, 9"x12". The catalogue shows over 200 designs of Stickley & Brandt mission furniture, including settles, settees, armchairs, side chairs, rockers, footstools, library tables, desks, tabourettes, bookcases, dining room suites and bedroom suites.
