Doe Hill News: Larry D., son of Melvin and Jessie Mae Armstrong was born Oct. 22, 1946, died January 24, 1947. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. L.O. Rose from the McKendree Church Sunday. Hymns used were, "Asleep in Jesus", "Sweet Story", and "Jewels". Burial was in McKendree cemetery. Besides his parents the baby is survived by one sister, Norma June, four brothers, Lynwood, Richard, Lyle Wayne and Steve Bradley. His grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Riley Simmons and Mrs. Chloe Armstrong also survive.
