JUNE Niederer ANDERSEN, age 77, of Rigby, died at the Rexburg Care Center, Friday, April 1, 2005. June was born June 30, 1927, at Archer, Idaho, the daughter of Arthur Emil Niederer, and Mary Ann Briggs Niederer. She grew up in the Archer, Rexburg areas, and attended Archer Elementary School. She graduated from Madison High School. She attended beauty college in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She married J. Elmo Andersen, March 5, 1947 in the Idaho Falls L.D.S. Temple. June was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. She served as a primary teacher, ward librarian, ward organist, and as a cub leader in the scouting program, and attended institute classes in Rigby, and Ricks College. She served as a stake extraction specialist in the Ririe Stake. June had worked for Idaho Fresh Pak, and Artco Inc. June enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, music, and gardening.

Survivors include her husband J. Elmo Andersen of Shelton, Idaho. Three daughters Jolene (William P.) Hartleben, Lauren (Norman) Gunderson both of Menan, Idaho. RaNell (Roy) Patterson of Aurora, Colorado. Five Sons, Ronald Elmo (Tami) Andersen, LaMonte Stanley (Tina) Andersen, Vern Gail Andersen, all of Rigby, Idaho. Rodney Joseph Andersen of Logan, Utah. DeMar Verl (Susan) Andersen, of Winnemucca, Nevada. Survived by one Brother George Emil (Maurine) Niederer of Mud Lake, Idaho. Survived by 29 Grand Children and 13 Great Grandchildren. Preceded by her parents, 3 brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2005, at the Shelton Ward L.D.S. Chapel at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends Monday evening 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby, and Tuesday 9:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. at the Chapel in Shelton. Burial will be in the Sutton Cemetery, under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
