William A. Bayda Age 75, of Canton, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011. William was born on Aug. 13, 1935, in Canton, the son of the late Anthony and Barbara (Mulig) Bayda. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Syler), whom he married on Aug. 12, 1961. William was a lifelong resident of Canton and a 1953 graduate of McKinley High School. He earned a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from The University of Akron. William served in the U.S. Army. He was a mechanical engineer for the Timken Co., retiring in 1985 after 33 years of service. Bill was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Canton.
