FAMILY SEARCH. When Allan Jess Groesbeck was born on 24 October 1939, in Toppenish, Yakima, Washington, his father, Richard Edgar Groesbeck, was 31 and his mother, Gertrude Enid Jensen, was 29. He married Marsha Lee Dedrickson on 24 November 1959, in Spanish Fork, Utah, Utah. He lived in Election Precinct 119 Buena, Yakima, Washington in 1940 and Provo, Utah, Utah in 1950. He died on 18 August 2005, in Orem, Utah, Utah at the age of 65 and was buried in Spanish Fork, Utah.

PASSAGE. Allen was born to Richard E. and Enid Jensen Groesbeck. Most of his growing up years were spent in Utah. He married his sweetheart, Marsha Lee Derickson on November 24, 1959. Their marriage was later sealed for all time and eternity in the Manti Temple on December 20, 1963. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Together they had nine children. Allen worked for Gatex Steel and McNalley Mountain States Steel. He enjoyed yard work and spending time with his family. His family was his pride and joy. He also enjoyed working on old cars with his sons. He is survived by his loving wife, children, and 22 grandchildren. Funeral Services were held on August 23, 2005 at the Timpanogos 2nd Ward Chapel in Orem, Utah.
