first Lydia Clements March 15, 1832 Pulaski Co., Missouri
second Martha J Allen Barton probablly after 1871
Note from another researcher:
John Andrew Gage. I have the 1870 Fall River, Greenwood, Kansas Census showing John & Lyndia Mary Clements Gage still living as husband & wife before her death in 1871. The 1880 Census he is shown with his daughter Melinda "Linn". Where did U get that he had married Martha in the 1850's? Is it possible he married Martha after the 1880 Census? I am not finding any documentation for this either. Is there a possibility that 2 John Gage's are interwoven here?
Suggested edit: John Gage and Martha Jane (Allen) Barton were married 04 Jul 1881 in Greenwood County, Kansas. Source: Kansas County Marriage Records
