Funeral services will be held for Wright Colvin Clements, 74, at the Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 405 E. 5th St. in Homer on Thursday, August 29, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Darrell Edmondson, officiating. Interment will follow at Buckner Cemetery in the Sharon Community. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Mr. Clements was born January 10, 1939 to Robert F. and Barbara Alma Clawson Clements. He entered into rest Monday, August 26, 2013 at his family farm near Lisbon, LA following a lengthy illness. Mr. Clements was a Lab Technician at Ludlow for 52 years and also managed the family farm, raising cows, pigs and donkeys to name a few.
Mr. Clements was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Allen Clements.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Laura Basco Clements of Homer; one daughter, Kim Clements Edmondson and husband, Darrell of Eagle Rock, MO; and one grandson, Richard Faircloth.
