Homer, Ill., March 26.—Chauncey Barnhardt, a well-known resident and a veteran of the Civil War, died at his home in Homer at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon at the advanced age of 84 years. The deceased is survived by five children. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Tolono Methodist church, conducted by Rev. Mr. Reasoner, followed by interment in Ash Grove cemetery in Tolono.
