Nancy married 1st Alfred Harrison Akers who died in 1965 in Giles County, Tennessee. His will is recorded in Giles County. She is buried with him in Lauderdale County, Ala. She did not marry Thomas Estep until 1873. Margaret was already 35 years old in 1880. She would have been born in 1845. She could not have been Nancy's daughter, but her stepdaughter. (Research needs to be done on this Margaret. Can anyone help? Could she have been a stillborn child?) Nancy was married to Alfred Akers at the time Margaret Estep was born. Nancy and Alfred had no children, and Nancy had none by Thomas Estep.
