Mrs. Audrey L. Abernathy, of Stow, died late Tuesday, at Akron City Hospital.
She was born Aug. 14, 1931 in Niles, a daughter of the late Wilton H. (Pete) Peterson and Louise Phillips Peterson, moving to Stow in 1976. She
was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls.
Her husband, Walter J. Jr., whom she married April 21, 1950, died Aug. 24, 1983. She leaves a son, Thomas H. of Cuyahoga Falls; three daughters, Mrs. James (Linda) Fischback of Kearney, Neb., Mrs. Ted (Edie) Coat, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Victoria Parsons of Munroe Falls; sister, Mrs. Bill (Judith L.) Goss of Howland, Ohio; seven grandchildren. Two brothers Lawrence W. and Herbert E. (Pete) Peterson, are deceased.
Private service FriDAY, at Niles City Cemetery Chapel in Niles, Ohio. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by Reese-Wynn-Winyard-McDermott Funeral Home in Niles.
