Viola Lois (Dawson) Wildermuth was born out side of Waynesfield, on Nov. 9, 1931 to Jesse Earl Dawson and Hannah Caroline Lauffer, who preceded her in death. On Oct.14, 1956 she married Jack Perry Wildermuth, who died on Sept. 30, 2002.
She was baptized on Sept. 17, 1933 at Immanuel Lutheran Church and was confirmed on May 25, 1947 by Rev.Dohman
She retired after 35 years of service at City Loan and Savings in Lima and after retirement worked at the gift shop at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church and served on the Alter Guild.
She was a member of the Lima Chapter of DAR and former member of the Susanna Russell Chapter.
Was a member of the First families of Allen and Auglaize county and Ohio Genealogy Society.
Life member of the Auglaize County Historical Society. As well as Life member of the Lima Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
She loved her grandchildren Ashley, Michael and Alexandria.
Survivors include daughter, Rachelle L. (Joseph) Bohinski of Wapakoneta, sister Violet M. Scheele of Lima and grandchildren Ashley M. (Brad) (Sherrick) Courtney of Lima, Michael A. Sherrick and Stephanie Eckart of Columbus and Alexandria E.J. Bohinski of Wapakoneta.
Great Grandchildren Isabella and Emily Courtney Mallory, Kennedy and Penelope Sherrick
She was preceded in death by brothers Bud A. Dawson, Earl J. Dawson and sister Carole L. Flannery and great grandson Jack P. Sherrick.
She loved working in her flowers and yard, cooking, vegetable gardening, freezing her produce that she grew in her garden and canning. She also enjoyed doing things for friends like her yearly delivery of Christmas goodies to many of her friends and family.
She was also a avid quilter, crocheted blankets and other keepsakes for family and friends .
She will be greatly missed by her entire family and friends.
She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Jack at Memorial Park and Mausoleum.
