Louise L. Chapel, 99, joined her husband on February 3, 2008.

She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Kenneth.

She is survived by; two daughters, Marcia Tucker, Syracuse, Suzanne Delanoy, Port Crane; one son, Carlton Chapel, Forest Lake, PA; one sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Richard Yetter, Binghamton; sixteen grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Louise worked for many years at Fowler's Department store in downtown Binghamton.

She loved raising her grandchildren and will be remembered by her loving family for her adventurous spirit, active lifestyle, willingness to help anyone and cook for everyone, her sense of humor, her excellent memory, but mostly for being a nurturing mother to her children and their children.

The family wishes to especially thank the caring members of Hospice.

Funeral arrangements are private and are entrusted to Savage Funeral Service, 338 Conklin Ave., Binghamton, NY 13903.
