Hazel, 79, passed away at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison. She was born the daughter of the late Carl & Grace (Toppe) Stark. Hazel married Gilbert Ryder of Hustisford on June 15, 1946, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Watertown. She and her husband had been residents of Lake Mills since 1964, moving from Waterloo. She had been employed by the former Standish Industries in Lake Mills.
Hazel was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband (deleted per FAG rules regarding names of survivors) other relatives and friends. Also preceding in death was a sister, Lucille Stendel.
Funeral services were held at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bruce A. McKenney and the Rev. James E. Rath officiating.
