Jane Carol "Janie" (Ballard) Norris, 54, the widow of the late W. R. Norris, died at her home in Chicago last Friday afternoon, after a brief illness of pneumonia.

Janie was the county's most exemplary woman and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. N. O. Blair and Miss Kate Norris, two sons Messrs. Proctor and Harry Norris, one sister, Mrs. Lucy Elliston, of Lakeland, Florida, and two brothers, Messrs. C. N. Ballard and R. P. Ballard, all of whom have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at Saint Francis church, after which her burial will be in Saint Francis Cemetery.

We wish to thank the many kind relatives and friends who came to us in our great sorrow and pray that you all may be spared many years of the sad ordeal through which we have passed. We also thank the twelve nephews who served as pallbearers.
