Mrs. Emma Osborn Minard, wife of John Minard, died yesterday at her home in North Ivy street, Chico Vecino, after a long illness. Mrs. Minard, who was 58 years old had undergone several operations in an effort to regain her health. Death occurred at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.
Mrs. Minard was a native of New York. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Sevey of Chico, and a sister, Mrs. Elena Barcelon of Hollister. She was the mother of the late Louis and Irvin Bernal.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at St. John’s Catholic church. Arrangements for the burial have not been completed.
