DANVILLE - Janie D. Maxwell, of Hwy 80, passed away Monday August 26, 2013 at her residence.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday August 28, 2013 at 11:00AM in the Danville City Cemetery. Elder Franklin Bryant and Mr. Frank Maxwell will officiate.
Mrs. Maxwell was born August 5, 1922. She was the widow of the late Edgar Dawson Maxwell, Jr., and was the daughter of the late Jim O. and Sally W. Davidson, and was preceded in death by her Grandson Ron Grantham. Janie was born in Wilkinson County, and lived most of her life in Twiggs County. Mrs. Maxwell was a retired Merchant and Tree Farmer. She was a member of the Danville Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Serenity Hospice, 520 Hillcrest Pkwy, Dublin, GA 31021.
The family will receive friends after the service in the Danville Baptist Church.
Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville has charge of arrangements.
