Preceded in death by parents David Allen & Della Faye Copeland.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; his children and their spouses, Norman Copeland; Karen and Gino Nanninga; Michael and Kathleen Copeland; and Douglas Copeland; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one brother, Rev. Fred Copeland; two sisters Elsie and Hazel Copeland.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today, August 26 in Greenlawn North Funeral Home. James was a devoted husband and father and will be missed by all who knew & loved him.
