MEMBER OF WELL KNOWN DUNCAN FAMILY AT REST

Clarence Duncan, 54, a member of one of the oldest families in the county, pioneers of the Hopland section, passed away at his Hopland home, located not many feet away from the home in which he was born.

The Duncan family name is widely known, carried not only by prominent members of the family but by the springs which bears the family name.

Deceased is survived by his wife, Bessie, and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Myers, Terril Duncan of Carson City, a cousin of the deceased, is the last male living member of the Duncan family.

Funeral services, arranged by the Eversole mortuary, will be held at two o'clock from the the Duncan family home in Hopland, with interment in the Hopland cemetery. Rev. W. Theo Matlock will officiate at the Hies.
