Karen died at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois. She was a teacher at Mascoutha High School, District 19 for 18 years. Karen had also worked for 2 years at the Illinois State Board of Education and was a former teacher in the Millstadt School District, and also a member of the Illinois Education Association. Karen was a faithful member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Belleville. Karen was also an avid gardner and loved to travel. Karen had a sweet spirit that will live on through her loving family and friends. She sis survived by her husband, Dave Sneddon, her father, Ralph Guthorle, mother, Delores Corbett, children, Andrea and Erin, 2 stepchildren, and many other family members and dear friends. Funeral Services were held on August 16, 2005 at the Kurrus Chapel with the Rev. Anne Asper Wilson presiding.
