Nancy "Nannie" Bell Williams was the daughter of Nancy "Nannie" Bell (who died in Dickson Co., TN. in 1849) and her second husband, Rev. Wesley A. Williams. She went to Coffeeville, Yalobusha Co., MS., to live with her uncle, Dr. Shadrach Bell. She married there Selden Fant, a lawyer, and moved to Holly Springs. Also in 1860, Nanny B. Williams, age 12, lived with Dr. Shadrack Bell and his three children at Coffeeville. Mrs. Bell had died in October 1859. James Donnell Bell, age 5 in 1860, later named a son Seldon Bell.
