1998, at Grisell Memorial Long Term Care,
Ransom.
She was born Oct. 10, 1898, at Cincinnati,
Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth
Emaline Marriott Cross.
She was a longtime Rush County resident.
She belonged to the Methodist Church and
United Methodist Women, both at McCracken.
On Sept. 23, 1915, she married William V.
Irvin at Pueblo, Colo. He died Dec. 7, 1977.
Survivors include: a son, Wesley Irvin, El
Paso, Texas; five grandchildren; six great-
grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Claude
Irvin, in 1994; a daughter, Mildred Anderson,
In 1998; a brother, Albert Cross; and three
sisters, Stella Irvin, Wilma Matteson and Edith Doogood.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at
United Methodist Church, McCracken, with the
Rev. Kathy Bannister presiding. Burial will
be in McCracken Cemetery. Memorials may be
sent to the church in care of Janousek Funeral
