Following his marriage to the former Jennie Cummings, they moved to Gray. For many years he was a partner in the Cole-Marsden Store in Gray Village.
Mr. Cole was a past master of Gray Grange, a member of Pomona and the State Grange and a former member of Sebago Lodge. K of P., Siloam Lodge, IOOF, and the Cumberland Lodge of Masons. He attended the Gray Congregational Church.
Surviving besides his widow are two daughters. Mrs. Ellen McCann and Mrs. Merilyn Pollard; two sons, H. Norman Cole and Warren Cole; a brother, Ira Cole, and two grandchildren, all of Gray.
