Graveside services for Myrtie M. Wilson of Greenville will be at 2 p.m. today at Forest Park Cemetery with Rev. Stone Risinger officiating. Mrs. Wilson died Friday at her home.
She was born in Collin County on Feb. 11, 1895, to Andrew and Elizabeth Brown McElroy. She married Harry H. Wilson on June 19, 1950. She began working in 1917 in the Adjutant General's Office in Washington, D.C., retiring in 1953. She was a member of Central Christian Church for 72 years and a former member of the Pot and Plant Garden Club.
Surviving are a step-daughter, Jean Vivuri of Palm Harbor, Fla.; sister, Georgia Bowden of Greenville and Dorothy Thomas of San Angelo; three step grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1969, and two sisters, Nettye West in 1982, and Maude Adair in 1975.
Peters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
