Creston W. Kuenzli, age 90 of Upper Sandusky died at 9:40AM on Fri. Aug. 23, 2013 in the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born Mar. 2, 1923 to the late Clayton and Nettie (Burnside) Kuenzli. He married Loretta M. Sullivan on Jan. 7, 1947, and she preceded him in death on Mar. 19, 2003. Surviving is a son Michael D. (Beverly) Kuenzli, Upper Sandusky, and a daughter Mary A. (Michael) Koehler, Upper Sandusky, 2 step grandchildren Anna (Brian) Young, Aaron Phillips, 3 step great grandchildren Zachary Young, Taylor and Katelyn Phillips. Mr. Kuenzli was preceded in death by 2 brothers Richard and David Kuenzli.
He graduated from Eden High School in 1942 and was a WW II Navy Veteran. Mr. Kuenzli attended Union United Methodist Church. He was life member of VFW Post #2842, Elks Lodge BPOE #83 and Wyandot County Sportsman's Club, 30 year member of Wyandot County Cattle Assoc., member American Legion Post #225.
A funeral service will be held Mon. Aug. 26, 2013 at 10:00AM in the Bringman Clark Funeral Home. Burial will be in Nevada cemetery where military honors will be conducted by the Upper Sandusky Veterans Color Guard. Visitation will be held from 1:00-4:00PM Sun.
