Mr. McCommon was born on April 24, 1931 in Clinchfield, Georgia. With honor and courage, he served his country as a Seargent in the United States Army. The Assembly at Warner Robins was his church home. As a prayer warrior, Mr. McCommon loved to help people and it showed through his most favored hobbies: his family, church and his service with Bill Glass Ministries. His parents, Norman and Laura McCommon; grandson, Billy Dupuis and siblings, William McCommon, Powers McCommon, Norman "Preacher" McCommon, Price McCommon and Jewel Williams preceded him in death.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 26, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Perry Memorial Garden Mausoleum. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, 886 Mulberry Street Macon, Georgia 31201 or the Parkinson's Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, New York 10018.
