Jeremiah came to Ohio between 1833 and 1836. He married Rebecca Handwerk and they had Mary, Rebecca, William, Tilman, Ann, Henry, Harris, and Alva. The family settled first in Weston, Wood County and then moved to Grand Rapids and then back to Weston. Jeremiah was a stone mason and then became a greens merchant.

Gravesite Details
He is probably buried in Old Weston or Beaver Creek Cemetery. There was no grave marker or it was destroyed.
