OBITUARY-
Ruby Clarice Hueman, 88, Adams, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, at Adams Health Care Center.
She was born June 25, 1911, in Adams Township, Minn., to Robert and Clara (Qualey) Anderson.
Ruby had worked for Hormel Foods Corp. and then married William Hueman on Feb. 21, 1933, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin. After they were married, they moved to Taopi and then to LeRoy and Austin for a few years each and then moved back to Taopi until 1957, when they moved to Adams. While living in Taopi, she had worked as a cook for the school in Taopi for many years and had belonged to the Taopi Birthday Club. She also was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was involved in many church activities. She enjoyed cooking and canning, cross-stitching and embroidering, and also gardening. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, William Hueman, Adams; daughters and sons-in-law Clarice and Herman King, Rochester, Louise and Loren Monson, LeRoy, LaVonne and Jerome Landherr, Adams, LaDonna Hueman, Austin; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Mary Hueman, Blooming Prairie, Richard and Linda Hueman, Adams; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Kenneth Sprau, Austin; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Grace and Rolland Ross, Adams; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Raymond Hueman, grandson Kevin King, grandson Mark King, great-granddaughter Katlin King, two brothers, one sister and son-in-law Vernon Mullenback.
Honorary bearers will be Randy Monson, Bill Hueman, Nick Hueman.
Casket bearers will be James Hueman, David King, Mitch Hueman, Brad King, Dan King and Ray Monson.
Service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2000, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Gregory Leif officiating.
Interment: Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Adams.
Visitation: Friends may call at Adams Funeral Home on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2000, from 4 to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m.
