She was born in Baveria Aug. 3, 1903, a Daughter of Mr. and Mrs George (Katharina Welzenbach) Peter. She had been a Rock Island resident for the last 60 years. She was wed to Robert H. Boden April 16, 1887, in Rock Island, and in 1937 they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. She was a member of St Mary's Catholic church, and it's alter society.
Surviving arre five daughters, Mesdames Herman (Elise) Bredar, Louis (Katherine) Paasch, Dora Johnson and Ralph (Agnes) Patting, all of Rock Island, and Mrs Margaret Bennett, at Home; a son, Joseph at home; 21 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Fred (Theresa) Erhart, Rock Island, and Mrs Kuni Dietz, Huntington Park, Calif.; and a brother, Val J. Peter, Omaha, Neb. Her husband preceded her in death last Nov 28 (1943).
Friends may call at the Wheelan funeral home after 10:30 o'clock tomorrow morning. Funeral services will be held Friday at 8:30 a.m. in the funeral home and at 9:00 o'clock in St. Mary's Catholic church.The rosary will be recited at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the funeral home. Members of the altar and rosary society of St. Mary's church will attend. Burial will be in Calvery Cemetery.
