C. Diane LaRue, of Evansville, passed away on June 7, 2012, at VNA Charlier Hospice.
She was born in Evansville to Charles and Freda McCracken. Diane graduated with honors from Bosse High School in 1974. After attending the University of Evansville, she began her career. She won the President's Award while employed at Bristol-Meyers Squibb for more than 30 years. Diane married Bruce W. LaRue and together they enjoyed 34 years of marriage. Diane had many interests, such as playing Bingo, golfing, and watching her beloved Colts. She was a woman of great faith. Diane loved her family and enjoyed every minute of the time she spent with her grandbabies.
Diane was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Freda and Don Willis.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bruce W. LaRue; son, Benjamin D. (Lacie) LaRue; daughter, Megan N. LaRue; father, Charles McCracken; sisters, Connie (John) Klipsch, and LaDonne (Dave) Craig; grandchildren (who affectionately called her "Nonnie"), Elizabeth, Elijah, Kaije, Ireland and Lucie; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, Godchildren, and her beloved granddog, Chloe.
The family wishes to thank the caregivers of Charlier VNA Hospice for all they did for Diane.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012, at 9 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Charlier Hospice, in memory of C. Diane LaRue.
