In 1921, she married Norman Dewey Thomas. She was a homemaker, an excellent cook, and a loving mother. She always put family first and was of the Baptist faith.
Lottie passed away 6 August 1991 in Gilmer, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, two brothers, and daughter Lottie D. Mackey. She was survived by two sons; Kenneth Norman Thomas and wife, Sue, Richard Cicero Thomas and wife Gwen, daughter; Barbara Ann Thomas Davis and husband Henry, sisters; Floy Crump and Melba Hester, brother; Weems Sylvester Dykes, and thirteen grandchildren.
