Nevaeh Marie Acosta (1) of Toppenish went to be with Jesus on Friday as a result of a motor vehicle accident outside of Buena.

She was born in Toppenish to Heriberto Acosta and Marisa Twinn on May 19, 2012. Nevaeh will always be thought of as our little angel watching over us. Nevaeh enjoyed spinning around making herself dizzy, playing in the water, dancing and waking up her aunts in the morning to play with her.

She is survived by her parents, her grandparents, Sonda Ashlock of Toppenish, Teresa Acosta and Antonio Rodriguez both of Yakima; her great-grandfather, Walter Twinn Sr. of Fort Yates, ND; her great-grandmother, Maria Acosta of Yakima; her aunts and uncles, Jordan, Jacqueline, David, Mercedes, Jessie and Dylan Twinn, Nicholas, Antonio, Oscar, Luis, and Isabel Acosta; Elizabeth Estrada. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Craig Twinn; and her great-grandparents, David and Elaine Ashlock.

Visitation will be from 2-6 PM on Friday August 23, 2013 at Colonial Funeral Home with recitation of the rosary at 5 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Toppenish at 10 AM. Interment will follow at the Union Gap Cemetery.
