Mary Mildred Meriwether, 94, of the Mainlands, Pinellas Park, died Wednesday (Aug. 27, 2003) at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute. She came here in 1977 from her native Chicago. She was a retired secretary for Chicago public schools in Cook County with more than 30 years of service. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinellas Park.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas J., Sarasota, and John W., North Salem, N.Y.; a brother, William Kirby, Park Ridge, Ill; and a sister, Joeen Sheridan, Arlington Heights, Ill. Osgood-Cloud Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Pinellas Park.

Mary Mildred Meriwether, 94, died Wednesday, August 27, 2003 in Florida where she moved in 1977. She was retired from the Chicago School Board.

Beloved mother of Thomas J. and John W.; beloved sister of William Kirby and Joeen Sheridan.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 2, from 8 a.m. till time of prayers at 9:15 a.m. from the Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Rd. to St. Catherine of Alexandria Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
