Mrs. Allen died Saturday, Aug. 30. Born in Williamsburg County, she was a daughter of the late Ira E. and Etta Stewart Coker. She was a member of The First Southern Methodist Church and worked for 17 years for Midland Health District in West Columbia and was a volunteer for 10 years with the American Cancer Society.
Surviving are three sons, Darryl (Joyce) Barrineau of Hartsville, Russell (Martha) Coker of Lexington, Reggie (Dianne) Barrineau and Harold (Sandra) Barrineau, both of Ocala, Fla; step–children, Theresa Hartley and Lewis Parler of Lexington; brothers, Homer Lee and Albert Ray Coker of Kingstree; grandchildren, Kevin (Michelle) Barrineau, Dennis and Angela Barrineau of Hartsville; Stacy and Travis Barrineau of Ocala, Fla.; and a great–grandchild Leath Barrineau of Hartsville.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Leonard and Alvin Coker.
