Daughter of Henry William and Sarah Elizabeth (Timmons) Duncan.

She married David Lester Husted, son of Sherman and Sarah Elizabeth (Rogers) Husted, on Sep. 25, 1887 in Putnam County, Missouri.

Obituary
Mary Florence (Duncan) Husted was born in Scotland County, Mo., May 31, 1868 and died at her home near Martinstown, May 13, 1931, being at the time of her death, 62 years, 11 months and 12 days old. She was mother of 13 children, one son, Basil, the oldest child, preceded her in death at the age of 21 years. The children are: Don and Earl of Desert Plains, Ill.; Sherman of Kansas City; Olof Pearson of Kirksville; Fay Stull, Hattie Cullum and Juanita West of Livonia; Audrey Dole, Dollie Mills and Neva Fechtling of near Lowground; Berlin of Martinstown, and Ray at home. All of the children were at her bedside when she passed away except Sherman and Earl and they had been home a short time before. All were present at the funeral. There were two sisters, Dovie Husted of Martinstown and Ella Kindred of Carrollton, Mo., and two brothers, Joe Duncan of near Martinstown and Wm. Demoney of Des Moines, Iowa. All these besides her husband and many other relatives and friends are left to mourn their loss. Mrs. Husted was a member of the Rebekah Lodge for a number of years. Her son-in-laws acted a pallbearers.
Funeral service were held at the Baptist church in Martinstown, Friday, May 15, at 3 p. m., by Rev. G. J. Hunsinger. Interment was made in the Martinstown cemetery.
