Services for former Hamilton City resident Jessie G. UTZ, 89, of Los Angeles were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the F. D. Sweet and Son Mortuary.
Mrs. UTZ died Thursday in a Los Angeles convalescent hospital.
She was born Aug. 7, 1896, in Red Bluff, and was a resident of Hamilton City for 52 years. She moved to Sacramento in 1977.
Mrs. UTZ is survived by a son, Loren of Sacramento; one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Her husband, William, died earlier.
The Rev. H. P. Wilde of Gerber, Tehama County, conducted the service.
Burial followed in the Orland Odd Fellows Cemetery. – Transcribed by M.
