Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Horton for Lucille Catharine Gormley, 83, Horton, who died Friday, Nov. 8, 2002, at a Topeka care center.
She was born Jan. 28, 1919, in Horton, to Leander and Catharine Beck Crider.
She was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church, the Altar Society at the church, Senior Citizens and the auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars, all in Horton.
She married Oliver Schiffbauer in Horton. They divorced. She married Leo B. Gormley in Horton. He died Aug. 18, 1970. Two granddaughters, Beth Schiffbauer and Nichole Gormley, also died.
Survivors include five sons, Ralph Schiffbauer, Bern, Robert Schiffbauer, Holton, William Schiffbauer, Seabrook, Texas, and James Gormley and Gene Gormley, both in Horton; five daughters, Judith McGuffin, Mary Harris and Jeanenne Carson, all in Holton, Colette McAfee, Horton, and Kathleen Serra, Kansas City, Kan.; 35 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren.
