Jacob Baum, Worden, Dies

Jacob Baum, 80, retired Worden farmer, died 3:25 p.m. Friday in a Billings Hospital of cancer.
He had been hospitalized six weeks.

Mr. Baum was born Oct. 5, 1880 in Russia.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Baum.

He came to Lincoln, NB. in 1907 and to Worden, MT., in 1911.

He married Katherine Bell in Russia in Oct. 1898.
She died in Worden in 1918.

He married Anna Elizabeth Walters in December 1921.
They had lived in Worden since.

Mr. Baum is a member of Bethlehem Congregational Church.

Surviving Mr. Baum, in addition to his widow, are five sons, C.W. Baum of Buffalo, WY., Jack Baum and Peter Baum of Long Beach, CA., William Baum and George Baum of Worden; his daughter, Mrs. John Schnieder of Worden;
two step-sons, Edward Walters of Ballantine and Adam Walters, two step-daughters, Mrs. Paul Propp of Fairview and Mrs. Lydia Kindsfather; three brothers, Conrad Baum of Standish, MI., William Baum of Bay City, MI.,
and Henry Baum of Gering, NB.; 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

The body is at Smith's Funeral Home.
