Mrs. Albert Knobel, 87, formerly of Monticello, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 1978 in the New Glarus Home following a lengthy illness.

Born on the parental farm in Washington township, near Monticello, on Feb. 26, 1890, she was the daughter of Henry and Anna Blum Juingst. She graduated from Monticello High School and was married on June 14, 1911, in Monticello to Albert Knobel.

Survivors are her husband, who lives at the New Glarus Home Apartments; a son, Donald J., Monticello; a sister, Emily Jordan, also at the New Glarus Home; two grandchildren and fourgreat-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 6, in the Zwingli United Church of Christ,
Monticello. Rev. Charles G. Workman, officiated. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
