Mary P. Pat (Callahan) Riley, age 78, formerly of Hingham, died peacefully, Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, surrounded by her loving family at the home of her son Paul, in Chelsea. She was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools. Pat was a member of the Class of 1953, the first graduating class, at Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree. She had lived in Quincy most of her life and ten years in Hingham. Pat was a homemaker but as a young woman had worked for the Boston Gas Company for several years. She was an avid skier and golfer and also enjoyed tennis. Pat was devoted to her family and especially to her eight grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late George R. Riley, she was the devoted mother of Mark E. Riley and his wife Cathy of Hampstead, N.H., Scott M. Riley and his wife Nina of Marshfield, Kirk V. Riley and his wife Christine of Weymouth, Paul R. Riley and his husband Roger Cox of Chelsea; loving grandmother of Kira, Erin, Christopher, Michele, Julia, Patrick, Shannon and John. Also survived by ten nieces and nephews. A memorial funeral Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock Street, North Quincy, Saturday, Aug. 24, at 10 O'clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment to follow at Saint Marys Cemetery, Randolph. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pats memory may be made to the Mary Jo Riley Scholarship Fund, c/o Archbishop Williams High School, 40 Independence Avenue, Braintree, MA 02184, or to the Peter J. Chrisom, Sr. Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o James E.
