Geraldine Gordy Appel, a retired accounting clerk for Dameron Pierson, died Tuesday of a heart attack At Mercy Baptist Hospital. She was 65.
Mrs. Appel was born in New Orleans and lived in Arabi for 35 Years. She was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church.
Survivors Include her Mother, Henrietta Pier Gordy; a son, John H. Appel III; a daughter, Melanie Nunez; a brother, Michael Gordy Jr.; and six grandchildren.
Burial Will Be In St.Vincent De Paul Cemetery No. 1.
