JOSEPH ORGERON
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano for Joseph Rudolph Orgeron, 86, a native of Lockport and resident of Galliano, who died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Interment was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.
He was the husband of Louisa Rebstock Orgeron; father of Teddy John Orgeron; brother of Eddie Orgeron and Mae Collins. He is also survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Justilien and Cesla Hymel Orgeron; three brothers, Percy, Mitch and Dave Orgeron; and a sister, Bridget Cheramie.
Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano was in charge of the arrangements.
