Coral E. Alexander, 91, of 180 Washington Street, Waterford passed away at 2:10 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at her home.

She was born December 3, 1921 in Morgan County the daughter of the late Clyde Thompson and Della Fuller Thompson.

She was a housewife and attended the Methodist Church in Mason, West Virginia. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

She is survived be her sister Sharma (Eugene) Heyman of Tiffin, Ohio; one granddaughter Jennifer (Matt) Devensky and two great grandchildren Isabelle and Ian; one daughter-in-law Brenda Alexander of Arvada, Colorado and several great nieces and nephews including Darlene McInturf Baldwin and friend Gary Swartz who cared for her the last few years of her life.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Delmar Alexander who died in 2002, an infant daughter Susan Alexander, two sons Jerry and Bruce Alexander, sisters Eileen Thompson and Josephine McInturf, brothers Wayne, Ralph and Roy Thompson.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 11 :00 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013.

She will be laid to rest in Wolf Creek Cemetery near Malta. In Leiu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Medi- Hospice Care.Online note of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.miller-huck.
