Inez Cass
WORDEN, MT. ---- Inez Cass, 79, of Worden passed away at home on Friday, March 24, 2000, of congestive heart failure.
Inez Cecilia Lane was born Nov. 15, 1920, on a ranch near Three Forks, MT., to Michael and Grace Lane,
Inez helped take care of her father and younger brothers, Gene and Leo, after her mother died in 1933.
Inez helped on the ranch until 1945.
She married Dale Cass on April 6, 1942.
They moved to Big Timber, MT., in October 1945 after Dale's discharge from the Air Force.
They moved to Worden, MT., in 1946.
Survivors include her husband, Dale, of 58 years; a daughter, Patti (Steve) Fait of Belgrade, MT.; two sons, James (Shelley) Cass of Parker, CO., and Mike (Bev) Cass of Eureka, MT.; a sister, Opal Cunningham of Columbus, MT.; brothers, Earl Lane and Leo Lan of Three Forks MT.;
five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Inez was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Gene.
Memorial mass will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, at St. Cyril and Methodious Catholic Church.
Cremation has taken place.
Private family inurnment will be at a later date in the Pleasantview Cemetery, Ballantine, MT.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Big Sky Hospice, Billings, MT., or to the charity of choice.
Arrangements were by Cremation or Funeral Gallery.
