MILLEN, Ga. - Mrs. Pearl Becton Myers, 61, died Thursday, May 27, 2010. She was born in Jenkins County, retired from Bellsouth and a member of the Big Horse Creek Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her brother, James Becton and parents, Arthur and Alice Becton. Graveside Services will be 11:00 am Saturday at the Millen Cemetery with Revs. Rudine Becton and David Wheeler officiating. Survivors include her husband, Tommy Myers; a daughter, Paige (Josh) Fleming; a granddaughter, Kyleigh Fleming all of Millen; four sisters, Minnie Bell Sherrod and Doris Young both of Millen, Ruth Williams of Statesboro, and Jean Skinner of Sylvania; five brothers, Rudolph Becton, Johnny Becton, and Rudine Becton all of Millen, Otis Becton of Sylvania and Robert Becton of Augusta. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
