Thanks to FAG Contributor Barbara Davis for more information on Annie. Annie's last name is spelled as DEVIN on her gravestone; this is apparently the way the family name was spelled originally. Yet her husband, who is linked here, has his name spelled on his marker as DEVIN. Researchers should take note.
DEVIN~DIVEN
CROSS-REFERENCE: DIVEN, Annie S.
Plot/space numbers entered for Weddington Cemetery are taken from "Cemeteries of Washington County, Arkansas," published by the Washington County Genealogical Society, Volume XI, Spring 1991. Grace Keith Genealogical Collection, 2nd Floor, Fayetteville Public Library, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Cemetery Note: Row 1 is not the westernmost row in the cemetery, as far as the way they are numbered in the record. (The one beginning with the Mitchell Family) At the time of their canvass and survey, it was. Now, there have been new rows added to the west of their Row 1, and I am not sure how they plan on naming those. The rows are numbered from the west to the east, with the highest numbered row being closest to the church building at the east end of the cemetery.
