The family of Thomas Agnew residing on Pearl street, is sorely affected, made so by the ravages of diphtheria, which yesterday carried away two of Mr. Agnew's daughters. Nellie, aged nine years, died about six o'clock yesterday morning, and Jennie, aged eight, expired at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Nellie had been sick for some days, but Jennie was in apparent good health up to Friday, when she, also, fell a victim to the same disease. The children's bodies were immediately placed in the vault. Mr. and Mrs. Agnew have the hearty sympathy of numerous friends.
