Peter Adam Wagner, a German immigrant arrived in the United States in 1832, and subsequently moved to Northampton County, PA where he married Rachel Eyer and had seven children including Fredericka (Brobst), Amelia, Jacob, William, Mary, Alvin and Melinda. Peter and Rachel raised their children in Rock Grove and later in life died there. Peter and wife Rachel, along with children Melinda and Mary are buried in the same cemetery. Peter was a farmer and shoe and boot maker in both his homeland of Bavaria, Germany and in Northampton County, PA. When he retired, around 1852, he moved his family to Rock Grove where he and Rachel lived until their deaths.
