Mr. Stallings, 57 , of Beech Island, SC, died Sunday, morning, August 17, 2003 at home.
Born in Aiken County, a son of the late Charlie and Lois Key Stallings, he had been a life long resident of the Jackson/Beech Island area where he was the former owner of Stallings Welding.
A son, John L. "Jay" Stallings, and his wife, Ashley, daughter, Tammy Syms and her husband, Michael; brothers, Charles, Eddie, and Larry Stallings; and grandchildren, Brittany Syms and Trey Stallings, survive.
The family has requested that memorials be made to Green Pond Baptist Church c/o Building Fund, P.O. Box 91, Jackson, SC 29831 or the American Diabetes Association, 326 Greene St., Augusta, GA 3090
