"Hack" was a life long mechanic. He worked as a mechanic for the Kern's Bread Company in his early years before he built and opened his service station/auto repair business in 1972. Witty's Service Center, on Roger's Road (Ashland was the gas supplier). Six years later he expanded it and added what is now known as Witty's Muffler and Complete Car Care. It is still a family run business carrying on the dreams of their father.
